Description

Jonathan Edwards: “Sunshine go away today”, Henry Gross and Henry Paul: “Outlaws”/ “Henry Paul Band”/ “Blackhawk”. Hear these three renown lead singers combine their stellar vocal talents.

In November 1990, three old friends got together and while rehearsing all day and recording at night, they suddenly found themselves having the time of their lives. The Resulting raw, unpolished tapes have a warmth and charm that has stood the test of time with fans of all three artists, as well as the artists themselves.

After searching through boxes of old DAT tapes Henry Gross found the original rough mixes. Working with mastering engineer John Mclane, he discovered most had dropped out or simply wouldn’t play. Fate intervened as the very last tape played flawlessly. It felt like a walk-off home run! If these tapes prove anything it’s that no amount of studio polish can trump three great singer-songwriters in love with the music and the moment!
